Late Wednesday (April 9) evening, police raced to the femcee’s estate after a call claimed a shooting had taken place at the property. According to law enforcement sources, the report came through around 7 PM via the sheriff’s business line, not 911 – a detail that hasn’t gone unnoticed. The anonymous caller claimed a Black woman had been shot and that two individuals were still on the scene. However, when deputies arrived, the home was empty and there was no sign of disturbance.
This marks the third time in under a year that Minaj has been swatted, with previous fake calls alleging child abuse and shootings. Thankfully, Minaj and her family were reportedly out of town when the incident occurred.
Authorities are still investigating the source of the call.
