Moments ago, ‘Outside’ climbed to #1 on the US Apple Music tally, becoming Cardi’s first to achieve the feat since 2021’s ‘Up.’
Taking to Instagram to thank her fans for supporting the fiery cut, the rapper seized the moment also to thank her label, Atlantic Records.
Admitting that cooler heads have prevailed, she
“I want to publicly apologize to Atlantic because I was being very bratty. Because I didn’t want to drop this song. But they were like, ‘no, b*tch, you gon’ drop this f**king song.’ I was giving so much pushback, but we dropped it, I compromised, and it’s going amazing.
I know they having a big ‘I told you so moment,’ so I want to publicly apologize the same way I went to Twitter to [vent].”
