Don’t call it a comeback! Just two years after Kesha watched her last album, ‘Gag Order,’ nearly miss the Billboard 200 when it debuted at #168, the Pop diva is seeing its follow-up top Billboard charts.
Details inside.
Kesha’s ‘Period’
First-Week Sales (SPS) ≈ 21,400 units
Billboard 200 Debut: #17
Released July 4 on the backs of singles ‘Joyride,’ ‘Boy Crazy,’ ‘Delusional,’ ‘Yippee-Ki-Yay,’ and ‘The One,’ Kesha’s ‘Period‘ pounced to a #17 debut on this week’s Billboard 200 thanks to first-week sales just north of 21,000 total units.
The highest position she’s captured on the hitlist since 2020’s ‘High Road‘ opened at #7, the tidy sales sum also helped ‘Period’ become the week’s highest-charting new album and the only LP to premiere in the top 20 of the chart’s updated edition.
Despite bowing outside of the top 10 of the Billboard 200, the 11-track effort still managed to outperform every title inside the ranking on a pure sales front thanks to its count of approximately 14,000 moved (helping it land at #1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart).

Your thoughts?

Huh? How many times you going to post the SAME artist in one night u dumbo bechh?!!
🥱
Don’t see longevity for Kesha’s career. Only 11 songs when she’s basically released half of them already. Her music hasn’t been the same without a certain someone creating the songs for her. He’s allegedly a bad person but he knows how to make hits 70% of the time
Who was crafting her hits? I never listened to her and I’m too lazy too google 🥱
Witcha, I mean Kesha? Ummm, no. I’ll pass. This refrigerator built heaux is waaaaay too into Satan for me to ever subliminally corrupt my spirit by listening to her spell casting music. Hard pass. Bye girl. 👋🏾💅🏾
The new album is good it’s classic Kesha with a more updated sound.. She just need to perform on some platforms where the general public knows she has an album out. But for an independent release this a good start for her.
