Muni Long Denies Shading Mariah Carey After Lambs Slam Her for Comedy Skit: “I Would Never Disrespect the Queen”

Published: Monday 24th Nov 2025 by Rashad

Hrs & Hrs‘ hitmaker Muni Long endured hours and hours of downright disrespectful dragging at the hands of Mariah Carey fans (affectionately called #Lambs) for sharing what some deem a shady comedy skit that got everything but laughs on Monday (November 24).

In continued promotion of her latest single, ‘Delulu,’ Long has been posting a series of comedy skits that sees her act as a talent show judge grading the performances of wannabe superstars.

The latest clip shows a plus-sized Mariah Carey impersonator showing up to put her own twist on Muni’s new song by not only sounding like the Songbird Supreme but repeating some of her famous quips about “overhead lighting” and not acknowledging time.

As if the appearance of the Mimi impressionist wasn’t enough, #Lambs took particular umbrage with Long saying “I don’t like other people singing my songs” – a clear and direct reference to Carey’s seeming disapproval with the R&B diva’s We Belong Together‘ tribute at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Taking over Muni’s comments with a slew of disses in response, #Lambs erupted at the content – a reaction that prompted the GRAMMY winner to quickly go to Instagram stories to dispel the notion she was being shady.

“Y’all, don’t be delulu. I would never disrespect Queen Mariah,” she said to her 1.3 million followers on the platform. “[I’m] forever a Lamb.”

Her statement did little to quell the fury of the fan group which is ongoing as of the time of this report.

E=MC2 slaughtered all the lambs; surprised any survived to baaah online for their mother. Muni’s right throwing shade back to sender; does Mimi have same smoke when Patti tributes her to her face? Admit it, Mariah: your worst fear is Morissette Amon tributing you. IYKYK. 😉

No she isn’t and she’ll pay for it. That song won’t do anything, nor will any music she does after. If you’re going to be a heffa and come out swinging unjustly, don’t punk out and say how you “would never” do that and bs about your moves. She literally answered a question in GQ about people COVERING her music, NOT ML’s tribute to her when singing the song.
