Jill Scott is officially stepping back into album mode.
The R&B icon has announced her long-awaited sixth studio LP, ‘To Whom This May Concern’, marking her first full-length release in nearly a decade and signaling the start of a new musical chapter.

The project is slated for release on February 13 and arrives following a milestone period that saw the Philadelphia native celebrate the 20th anniversary of her ‘Who Is Jill Scott? Words and Sounds Vol. 1’ project with a sold-out North American tour.

Alongside the album announcement, Scott has premiered its first single, ‘Beautiful People,’ showcasing a soulful reminder of her gift for warmth, reflection, and connection.
Per Scott, the album itself is said to center themes of humanity, community, and emotional honesty, while boasting collaborations with Ab-Soul, J.I.D., Tierra Whack, and Too $hort.
‘To Whom This May Concern’ also features production from the likes of DJ Premier, Om’Mas Keith, Adam Blackstone, and Camper.
News of the project comes as the soulful icon gears up to star in ‘Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married Again.’
