Following a successful Mother’s Day weekend together, it appears the rapper and NFL star may officially be back on good terms.

According to reports, the couple’s earlier split was fueled by trust issues and ongoing tension within the relationship.

A source shared with PEOPLE, 

“Cardi pulled away from the drama in February. She didn’t trust him and felt like things were going on behind her back. She wasn’t in a place emotionally to deal with fighting and tension.”

Rumors surrounding their reconciliation gained momentum earlier this week when Cardi attended Diggs’ Diggs Deep Foundation Mother’s Day wellness event in Washington.
