Playboi Carti may have fired back at Drake. The rapper appeared to clap back on Ken Carson’s new album ‘Xperiment,’ which dropped on July 4.

The track ‘wedidit‘ features a bar from Carti that caught fans’ attention: “Teen X done told you, I’ll blast at you, crodie.” The use of the Toronto slang term “crodie” led many to believe it was a response to Drake’s recent diss on ICEMAN.
On the album, Drake rapped on ‘Whisper My Name’:
“Baby boy, please / I heard what you said to lil’ bro about me / Yeah, and when you run into the Iceman, what you gon’ do except freeze?”
The mention of ‘Teen X‘ in Carti’s bar also drew attention. It references Carson’s project and Carti’s 2020 collaboration with Future on ‘Whole Lotta Red.’
The beef between Drake and Carti is largely a byproduct of the Kendrick Lamar battle. They had no prior issues, but Carti’s ‘MUSIC’ album featured three K.Dot tracks, shifting the dynamic.
Previously, tracks like ‘No Face‘ were expected to feature both artists. Drake ultimately released them solo.
While neither diss is explicit, fans interpret the bars as shots at each other. A reconciliation seems unlikely for now.
