The legal wrangle over the legacy of the late Chadwick Boseman has taken another turn.
This time, a proposed documentary about the beloved ‘Black Panther’ star sits at the center of fresh court drama between his widow, Taylor Simone Ledward Boseman, and members of his family.

According to TMZ, Taylor says in court documents that she has been working with production company Words + Pictures on a documentary celebrating Chadwick’s life.
She also says she is in the process of securing an offer from Searchlight Pictures to produce the project.
Per the filing, Taylor claims both sides of the family were sent identical paperwork as part of a “Most Favored Nation” structure, which she says was designed to ensure equal treatment. However, she alleges Chadwick’s family asked the production company for separate agreements.
The new filing arrives amid an already bitter estate battle. As TGJ reported, Chadwick’s brothers previously asked a court to remove Taylor as administrator of his estate, alleging a lack of transparency. She later blasted the lawsuit as a “PR stunt”.
Boseman, who died in 2020 at age 43 after a private battle with colon cancer, remains one of Hollywood’s most treasured talents. That makes the current family fracture all the more delicate.
