The Hollywood heavyweight has undergone another dramatic transformation for ‘Lizard Music,’ his upcoming movie directed by Benny Safdie.

Set photos captured in Brooklyn show Johnson sporting an aged appearance, complete with a tan bucket hat and coat, as he steps into the shoes of the eccentric Chicken Man. The character is a 70 year old who befriends a young boy after a bizarre discovery involving lizard musicians on late-night television.
The film is based on Daniel Pinkwater‘s children’s book of the same name and sees Johnson reunite with Safdie following their collaboration on 2025’s ‘The Smashing Machine.‘
Joining Johnson in the cast are Theo Clark Leber, Rachel McAdams, Colman Domingo, Regina Hall, David Krumholtz, Jeff Goldblum and Alicia Silverstone.
