A 27-track affair, the new project is loaded with big names like Meghan Trainor, NBA YoungBoy, Nicki Minaj, Gucci Mane, Ty Dolla $ign, Michael Buble, and more.

Peruse of the Billboard charts and the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) logs proved those superstars’ powers combined were just what the doctor ordered.

Jason Derulo ended 2023 on a critical high note courtesy of ‘Hands on Me’ (his reunion duet with fellow hitmaker Meghan Trainor), and now he’s toasting to another good year with ‘Spicy Margarita’ – a tag-team with fellow chart-topping singer Michael Buble.

Quite the unlikely duo, Derulo and Buble have joined forces up to celebrate National Spicy Margarita Day (January 26) with a sizzling new track that sampled from Dean Martin’s unforgettable ‘Sway.’

Michael, who famously covered the iconic tune over 20 years ago on his debut album, jumped at the opportunity to breathe new life into the American standard.

“The roots of what I do and what I love – the standards, the Great American Songbook – fit so perfectly with everything Jason is creating musically,” Bublé said in an official statement. “Mixing the old school standards with a more modern pop sound was only a matter of time, and I knew if anyone was going to get it, it would be Jason. Right away I was excited, and then I listened to the demo and was blown away.”

Nearly 4 years separate Jason Derulo fans from his last body of work, the ‘2Sides (Side 1)‘ EP, but a consistent release of singles over 2023 suggests the wait for a new project may be coming to close.

Having unleashed ‘Slow Low,’ Body Count,’ ‘Glad U Came,’ ‘When Love Sucks,’ and more over just the last few months (as we reported here), Derulo continues the string of drops by revamping ‘Low’ with a special guest: Mexican singer-songwriter Yng Lvcas.

Putting a Latin spin on the uniquely tempoed cut, the tune comes shortly after Derulo delivered ‘Running (All the Things She Said)’ which interpolates part of the 2002 hit ‘All The Things She Said’ (performed by Russian duo t.A.T.u.).

As Jason Derulo fans count down to news about his next musical body of work, the singer-songwriter is whetting appetites with the racy new single ‘Body Count.’

The follow-up to the June-released ‘Glad U Came,’ ‘Body’ comes as an ode to being judgment-free and sees Jason emphasize to a love interest that he’s not the kind of guy that holds people’s sexual pasts against them.

“It’s amazing when two people are drawn to one another without preconceived notions or judgments,” Derulo said about the Pink Slip and Inverness-produced tune.  “Like the song says, ‘I don’t really care about your body count cause I just want to make that body count.’”

Jason Derulo is ready for you to say ‘I do’ to his latest single, ‘Glad U Came.’

Despite watching its original incarnation (released April 27) garner critical acclaim, the single – much like Derulo’s other 2023 single releases ‘Slow Lowand When Love Sucks‘ – has yet to see that success mirrored commercially.

To turn up the summertime heat, Jason’s lifted the lid on a stripped version of the Pink Slip-produced jam – a rendition he’s branded the ‘wedding version.’

Jason Derulo is keeping the new music pumping with no signs of slowing.

The last two months may have seen him introduce music lovers to the Dido-assisted ‘When Love Sucks‘ and ‘Glad U Came’ (as we reported here), but now he’s lifting the lid on their follow-up: ‘Slow Low.’

Produced by Pink Slip and Jackson Morgan, Derulo’s ‘Slow’ comes as a unique musical venture because its tempo changes at different points throughout the song – a play on the tune’s lyrics about a lover who is hard to keep up with in the sack.

“Gооd thіngѕ gоnnа соmе іf уоu јuѕt wаіt / Ѕhе rіdе mе fаѕtеr аnd fаѕtеr / Аnd ѕhе dо іt wіth раѕѕіоn / І fееl іt соmіng, іt’ѕ соmіng / Ѕо, bаbу, ѕlоw dоwn,” he croons on the innuendo-laden track.

Titled ‘When Love Sucks,’ the new Club-Pop bop was produced by Pink Slip, Jakke Erixson, Sam Martin, Spencer Bastian, as well as Tor Eimon and calls on assistance from GRAMMY-nominated English songstress Dido.

“When love sucks, it sucks / And you’re the best and the worst I had / But if you there when I wake up / Then it’s not so bad,” Derulo croons on the cut that samples Dido’s unforgettable 2000 smash ‘Thank You.’
