Victoria Monet‘s breakout single, ‘On My Mama,’ already reigns in her discography as the highest-charting hit she’s landed on the Hot 100 to date (#48 peak as of time of this report).
But, if her dream to assemble fellow Southern belles Megan Thee Stallion and/or Beyonce on a remix comes true, it’s undoubted the inescapable bop will skyrocket even higher on the hitlist.
Award-winning singer-actress Renee Rapp watched her debut album, the August-released ‘Snow Angel,’ soar to #44 on the Billboard 200 near the time of its release – marking the highest rung she’s reached on the tally to date.
Her bid to see the critically acclaimed effort fly to even higher heights on the hitlist came Friday (November 17) when the 12-song set was repackaged via a deluxe edition that sees its tracklist expanded with 4 additional songs.
Among those is the remix of fan favorite ‘Tummy Hurts’ featuring GRAMMY-nominated R&B songstress Coco Jones.
“Now my tummy hurts, he’s in love with her / But for what it’s worth, they’d make beautiful babies / And raise them up to be a couple of f*cking monsters like their mother and their father,” Rapp sings on the chorus of the Alexander 23-produced tune.
