During her time in the spotlight, Michelle Obama has established herself as a force for social change.
Now, she’s establishing herself as a tour de force. Literally.
Last month, the much-loved Obama matriarch released her memoir ‘Becoming’ and almost immediately sold through millions of copies.
Initially supported by a 10-city tour (with stops in the likes London, Los Angeles, and New York), the trek is now expanding into a worldwide jaunt – with a number of arenas on the itinerary.
Details and dates below…
Moments ago, Live Nation and Crown Publishing announced a huge renewed push for the book in 2019.
Speaking on the new dates, Mrs Obama said in the statement:
“I couldn’t be more excited to visit even more cities across the country and around the world. I’ve been so humbled by the response to the tour thus far and the overwhelming interest we’ve received from so many communities we weren’t able to visit this year. That’s why I’m thrilled that we’re able to expand our conversations to these new settings and wider audiences. I can’t wait to continue the discussions that have been so meaningful for me and, I hope, for so many others.”

‘Becoming,’ as a venture, is one of many incoming from the Obama camp. Indeed, former President Barack Obama is also penning his memoir; while the couple notably signed a Netflix deal to produce a whole slate of shows.
The “Obama” presence, impact, and resonance shows no signs of waning and we’re oh so here for it. Especially during this current climate. More power to them!
rest in peace to Aretha Franklin who had to go thru civil rights era..going thru backdoors, cant eat here and barack o muth fkin bama had the queen of soul sing on a side stage after thief beyonce…wow….I know she was hurt
The Obam are trash, they did NOTHING for this country… being black isn’t an accomplishment…..
The closest she is coming to me is still too far away. I am buying the book and I wish I could see and actually meet her.
