Now, as she pounds the promotional pavement for her bestselling memoir ‘107 Days,’ she has revealed that she may not be entirely done with her White House ambitions.
In a new BBC interview, Harris articulated her belief that her grandnieces would, “in their lifetime, for sure,” see a female president.
As for whether that would or could be her, she added:
“I am not done. I have lived my entire career as a life of service and it’s in my bones.”
Asked squarely if that meant another presidential bid, Harris quipped:
“Possibly.”
When asked about unfavorable polling, she wasn’t deterred, answering:
“If I listened to polls I would have not run for my first office, or my second office – and I certainly wouldn’t be sitting here.”
