The 36-year-old athlete took to Instagram moments ago, marking his first post since the crash that occurred on Monday morning in Lagos. The collision resulted in the deaths of longtime friends and team members Sina Ghami and Latif “Latz” Ayodele.
Joshua, who was hospitalized with minor injuries, shared a solemn image showing him standing alongside his mother and the families of his late friends, one of whom is seen holding a photograph of Ghami, adding to the weight of the moment.
He wrote:
“My Brothers Keeper ❤️❤️”
According to reports, the Olympic gold medalist returned to the UK on Saturday after spending several days in Nigeria following the crash. The funerals for Ghami and Ayodele are set to take place today (January 4), at London Central Mosque.
