In his remarks, Joshua emphasized the depth of their bond, making clear they were far more than business partners. He said:
“They’re my brothers, they’re my friends first and foremost then we became business partners, hustlers, lieutenants, generals, we became everything.”
He also reflected on how protected he felt by them, despite his own physical stature:
“I didn’t even realize that I’m the big guy, but I was walking with giants man that kept me protected, kept me shielded.”
Rather than focusing on fear, Joshua spoke calmly about mortality and faith, explaining that his priority now is a sense of duty to their families:
“It ain’t about legacy, it’s just doing what’s right and I know I’ve got to do what’s right for them.”
He closed by thanking the thousands around the world who sent prayers, extending love to grieving parents and anyone who has lost a loved one.
