Porsha Williams never seems far from headlines these days.
Fresh from dragging cast mate Kenya Moore across the floor, ‘The Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ star last night found herself embroiled in a homophobia row – following the surfacing of a “video”.
The clip, which was posted on TMZ, saw Williams (a former preacher) preaching to a church congregation about embracing all people – whether “drug dealers, hookers, gays, or lesbians”.
Unfortunately for Posha, the mentioning the latter two groups seems to have landed her in hot water – as some have interpreted her words as being derogatory.
Keen to clear her name, the reality star has just released a video statement. Peep her defence and the original clip after the jump and let us know what you think…

Are u slow? Porsha has every right to say what she wants to say but u can’t say things like that and then turn around and wanna be one of the “girls” when they are putting money in your pockets. Seems to be no such thing as freedom of speech anymore, she wasn’t even gay bashing in the video.
The problem is that the gay community are so dam sensitive and are ready to attack anyone who thinks different from them, like they don’t have a right to have an opinion and that they are wrong to have those views and beliefs.
I’m still team Porsha, when the media result to using old footage of you preaching, that’s how low they will go to try and bring people down, Porsha wasn’t hating or call them inappropriate names, making a big deal over a 4 year old vid footage, gay people, gay supporters, atheist need to accept that not everyone is going to agree with their way of life.

People need to get off the I hate Porsha bandwagon and think for themselves. Its clear she’s not homophobic and it was about acceptance. I feel she only grouped these particulars in all together because at the time these people were probably getting talked about the most and getting judged by people who are taught not to judge. No homophobic slurs or talk was even used and it’s silly that people are acting as if she said sinners should die or something. Last time I checked telling people to accept gay people wasn’t homophobic, people need to chill.
Delusion has prohibited anyone from seeing the actual message at hand. As a gay man I am going to say that I don think Porsha is in the wrong for this. What you all must realize is that regardless if you want to believe it or not the bible does not accept homosexuality. It rebukes it. As much as we would love to believe that word says otherwise it doesn’t. In this particular video, Porsha, like most modern preachers was speaking to a congregation of small minded southern individuals who would indeed lump is into the same category as the ones she indicated. In her mind she was telling these people that no matter who the person is… Wrong/right etc etc they should be accepted. The only way to deliver that message to a church w people that small minded is to break it down in the way that she did. Believe me, I come from this area.. You’re not gonna get through to these people and make them believe homosexuality is right… They want t
