A film student has filed a 2 billion lawsuit against the writers of ‘Men in Black 3‘, after he claimed that they stole from the movie’s plot lines…from his homework assignment.
His story below…
TMZ reports:
The writers of “Men in Black 3” used a homework assignment stolen from a film school student to finish their blockbuster screenplay … so says the student, who’s now suing for TWO BILLION DOLLARS!!!
In fact, Constantino Basile says his script ideas were so good … they were used in THREE big Hollywood movies and spoofed by Steven Spielberg for the classic SNL short “Laser Cats 7” … according to the lawsuit obtained by TMZ.
Basile claims he submitted his stories “The World of Jupiter” and “Crisis on Jupiter” as assignments for a class at Los Angeles Film School back in 2011.
In the docs, Basile says a teacher at the school sold his work to Hollywood film writers … who incorporated various elements of the stories into their movies, including “MIB 3,” “Prometheus,” and “Elysium.”
Will Smith, the star of all three ‘Black‘ movies, is yet to respond to Basile‘s allegations.
Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s true… This is why you ALWAYS get yo s*** copyrighted. PERIOD.

The reach is real!!! I don’t even think the trilogy as a hole made that much!!!
Stop! Don’t think that big film companies don’t steal from “little people”, they do it all the time. Look at how many writers Beyonce has stiffed over the years.
Reach? You must be one of those people who think rich people are incapable of stealing because they don’t have to.
Sister, the word you were looking for is whole. Not hole.
Clearly hole is inside of whole and that was what I was trying to write but anyways like I said 2 billion is a frickin reach! Ask for 2 or 3 million instead!!
This is a crying shame. Imagine having a great idea and then seeing it in a major movie and KNOWING it’s your idea! This practice is far too common and it’s wrong! WRONG!
Too greedy. Even if it’s true you don’t deserve that much. Why do these people set themselves up for such a fail by suing for absurdly large amounts of money. Be realistic and you might actually get somewhere!
Its a smart psychological tactic. He knows he won’t get that much but what if he sues fro 5 mill and he could’ve gotten 500 mill? See the logic? Ask for ridiculous amount then accept the amount you really thought you’d get.
Ok sam now Y do u even post some of these ridiculous stories girl??
Sound like that film with Frankie Muniz and Amanda Bynes: Big Fat Liar lol where the director guy stole his homework and used it in his big Hollywood movie
make it 2 >M<illions. give it to him and he can STFU pls. that easy.
Pretty sure he has just stole the plot from the film big fat liar and also how come he has taken so long to tell the story like come on there has been a trilogy for gods sake hahaha
“… who incorporated various elements of the stories into their movies, including “MIB 3,” “Prometheus,” and “Elysium.”
Read the whole story next time, not saying it was used for MIB 1 or 2, just 3.
Same goes for the dude earlier that he didn’t think the whole franchise even made that much… No, probably not. But MIB 3, Prometheus, AND Elysium combined, probably made a large amount off of HIS ideas. So he won’t get the full $2 Billion, but they might settle for $50 Million or something. Reach HIGHER, so you land as high as you can. 🙂
Will Smith: “AWW HELL NO!!!”
Very sure he just admittd that his teacher sold the scripts to the film companies, the film companies bought their s*** fair and square…he should be suing the tacher.
Smart tactic on his end. Might end up with 100 million. U never know. If this is true he is bout to be PAID. Lemme look him up. Might be a friend I lost contact with here in Los Angeles.
Copyrights are good, but they only go so far to protect you. In this case, you gotta have the cash to get some very powerful lawyers to go up against the studio lawyers. And that’s why film and record studios take chances. They don’t think most people will be able to defend themselves.
Just hit him with the neurolyzer. No one is giving you 2 billion for the possibility that a triology which grossed maybe a few hundred million MAY HAVE been taken from you. What a f****** tard.
