Named ‘American Disgrace‘, the episode (which aired Wednesday) featured a storyline pulled from real life drama experienced by the ‘Crazy in Love‘ singer, reaching the public’s attention when footage emerged of her sister Solange attacking her husband Jay Z in an NYC elevator in the May of this year.
Also inspired by the Donald Sterling’s racist recording scandal, the episode’s Beyonce-driven storyline saw it pull in 7.73 million viewers, despite facing criticism from some fans of the star who blasted the show for pulling from the controversial story.
