Many may be on the fence about former Baltimore Ravens star Ray Rice‘s reinstatement to the NFL, but there’s one supporter whose devotion the running back needn’t question – wife Janay Rice.
Fielding criticism from national media to football fans and even the President of the United States, Janay proudly stands by the man who physically assaulted her in an Atlantic City elevator just three months ago – a feat demonstrated on her long-awaited sitdown with Matt Lauer on ‘Today.’
The embattled couple dished on the status of their relationship post-assault, mistreatment from the NFL, misconceptions from spectators, and so much more.

I feel so bad for this girl. I really do. I’ve witnessed first hand battered spouse syndrome so I won’t judge her. There is no way any man that loves and respects you does that to his wife. Ever. And if it does happen no self respecting woman should be in that relationship. Kids or no kids. Her daughter will grow up and see that video one day. Hopefully she can at least learn what type of man not to end up with. Family all supportive of course because ray rice pays all the bills and keeps grandma looking fresh. I can’t.
She’s putting her daughter’s life on the line! How can she sit there and be ok? Her beat brain …
i feel bad for this girl MONEY will make you do anything watch in a few years she will spill all the tea ans he moved on to the next girl
Something about her parent’s demeanor doesn’t sit well with me
