Not even a two-month hiatus could quell the blazing success of Shonda Rhimes shows ‘Scandal’ and ‘How To Get Away With Murder’.
Both off screens since their Winter finales in November, the ABC hits made triumphant returns to the small screen this week and brought big numbers with them.

Per TV By The Numbers, the intense episode of ‘Scandal’ – which featured a dramatic plot twist – commanded a whopping audience of 10.4 million.
‘Murder”, which completes the network’s three hour block of Shondaland shows each Thursday – followed with an impressive 9.1 million.
Both led their respective prime-time slots, further proving that the Shonda Rhimes reign shows no signs of letting up.
