Indeed, while recent times have seen her chastised for her comments regarding Beyonce and First Lady Michelle Obama, it’s the star’s declaration that she doesn’t consider herself Afro-American that continues to resonate a year on.

When quizzed about her comments regarding her race, she offered a response that must be seen to be believed.

Speaking to the host, Symone asserted that when tracing her ancestry she found that she was “from every continent in Africa and every continent in Europe.”
