This summer brings with it the hotly anticipated premiere of N.W.A biopic, ‘Straight Outta Compton.’
The film, which takes its title from the group’s 1988 debut, promises to compellingly re-tell the story of how the likes of Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, and Ice Cube came to be one of Hip-Hop’s most iconic forces, as well as the backlash they faced along the way.

The Hood movie of the summer. I’ll be rite there at the Movies the day it comes out. But I’m going to keep my black ass rite in the Orange county area. I know it going to be some stupid negro s*** in Los Angeles when that movie come out. I’m sorry to say this, but I feel it going to be something like New jack city when it came out.
They’re the reason why hip hop went from being uplifting and conscious to glorifying murder and demeaning women, so no thank you. I will not be supporting this mess.
