Is a different kind of drama drumming up behind the scenes at ‘Empire’?
According to new reports, not only is the answer “yes,” but it’s also set to have implications for the show’s lead actor Terrence Howard.
Details below…

A source tells us that Howard’s role in the upcoming second season of “Empire” will be scaled back because of his recent divorce drama and numerous prior allegations of domestic abuse, which have resurfaced in recent weeks.
At the end of the show’s smash first season, his character Lucious was arrested for murder, but according to our source, it’s more than a storyline — it’s a calculated move to keep Howard on the sidelines.
“What they are doing is two-fold,” said the source. “They have him locked up so you won’t be seeing him in as many scenes. But they are bringing in so many, and I mean so many, guest stars and cameos that the average viewer won’t realize it because there is so much going on.”
The report continues on to add that the show’s focus will shift towards Taraji P. Henson, who was recently nominated for an Emmy for her depiction of the sassy Cookie Lyon.

Yikes…if indeed true. It does figure, though, why – in light of all Howard’s drama – FOX (as a major network) may want to divorce themselves from the hoopla.
In any case…
‘Empire’ returns September 23rd on FOX and will feature appearances from guests Kelly Rowland, Alicia Keys, Lenny Kravitz, Chris Rock and Adam Rodriguez.
Um, how can they reduce his role when season 2 completed filming before his divorce drama started? Lol
Right?!
Season 2 is still filming actually… part 1 of season 2 is already filmed but the 2n half hasn’t started yet!
I am really excited.
I think Kelly Rowland will do a great job
Looks like the empire is starting to crumble, and I couldn’t be happier. This degenerate faaaaggggg show is offensive and shouldn’t even be on TV.
Dis show is so overrated.
HUNNIE. ALL I CAN SAY IS………..POWER.
Lee Daniels has lost his edge and he stinks.
