Following NeNe Leakes’ shock departure from ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ last month, all eyes have been on what the reality star’s next move would be.
Fast forward a few weeks and not only is the 45-year-old readying a game show with Betty White, she’s also been announced as a guest host on E!‘s revamped ‘Fashion Police.’

The network revealed that Leakes and Margaret Cho will serve as a guest hosts alongside anchoring panelists Melissa Rivers, Giuliana Rancic and Brad Goreski on the show’s first episode back on August 31st.
Together the quintet will muse on the style hits and misses from the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, which take place a day before.
It is believed that, following the death of Joan Rivers last year and the controversial departures of Kelly Osbourne and Kathy Griffin shortly after, the series will feature three permanent hosts and revolving door of guests – NeNe being one of the first. {Source}

Our guess is that this will essentially serve as a live/real-time audition for a permanent role in the future (much like Raven Symone’s initial stint on ‘The View’).
Forget high fashion know-how (sorry a HSN line doesn’t count). Ms. Leakes is tasked with showing up and showing out. We have no doubt she’ll do exactly that come August 31st.

Ms Annalise speaks the truth – Ms Leakes is fierce but she needs to up her fashion game if she’s vying for a permanent spot. but finding the right stylist shouldn’t be difficult – look at Kelly Osbourne, she used to dress so tacky and after joining the crew her image changed.
