‘Empire’s list of celebrity guest-stars continue to swell this year.
For, the hit Fox series has announced that the civil rights leader Al Sharpton will feature in its forthcoming season.

The series returns to Fox on September 22nd and has already welcomed the likes of Kelly Rowland and Mariah Carey to its cast.
Today, fans will learn that the Reverend Al Sharpton has secured a role in the series which was created by ‘The Butler’ director Lee Daniels.
Details on his role are yet to be announced but may be linked to the show’s plans to deal with the issue that is racism this season.
