Trey Songz hasn’t been rocking the charts of late. Still, undeterred, the Virginia native is instead flexing his acting muscles.
In an odd, yet interesting move, Trigga has joined forces with the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) and Codeblack Films for a new movie.
Details below…
Christened ‘Brother’s Blood,’ the flick is described as a gritty action thriller that’ll be directed by John Pogue.
Brother’s Blood takes place on the mean streets of a city in decay, where a recently released convict begins to take murderous revenge against his childhood friends, whom he believes let him take the fall for a crime they collectively committed. As the bodies start piling up, one of the friends, now a cop, will stop at nothing to put an end to the murderous rampage and to right the many wrongs of their tragically violent past. {Source}
The flick is the latest big screen venture for 31-year-old Songz, who has previously starred in ‘Baggage Claim’ and ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre.’
For any artist striving for longevity in the media marketplace, moves like these are a must. So, kudos to Trey.
