Wait. So he has the nerve to CONTINUE TRYING IT with this song, even after Bey made him tremble in his boots with her Superbowl performance? I can’t. Just pushing an agenda to sell records……and he STILL WONT GO PLATINUM this time around.
So because Beyonce finally decides to speak up on what is happening in today’s society, people are now supposed to stop because the work is now done?
I’m not a Macklemore fan and I don’t know his agenda for the release of this song, but compared to Beyonce’s song, it doesn’t beat around the bush. He gets straight to the point. You don’t have to watch a music video to find the message and when it comes to racial issues, equality and social issues in general shouldn’t be hidden messages by saying you like Afros and hot sauce. Black people are more than that. You shouldn’t knock someone who has actual went out and protested for “black lives” rather than just throw money and say they helped.
Powerful. Very Powerful.
