It’s officially curtains for Tamar Braxton‘s tenure on ‘The Real.’
Earlier today, news hit the wire that the outspoken singer and media personality had been let go from her panelist position on the daytime talker – a role she’s occupied since the show’s 2014 debut.
Now, the team behind the FOX hit have issued a statement.
Their words below…
“THE REAL and Tamar Braxton have mutually decided that Tamar will not be continuing with the show for its upcoming third season. She will be leaving in order to concentrate on her solo career. Everyone associated with THE REAL appreciates Tamar’s efforts and the contributions she has made to the show’s success, and we wish her all the best for the future.”
And there it is.
Debate will no doubt rage on about just how “mutual” the parting is – especially given the “I’ve been stabbed in the back” spiel Tamar was touting today.
It’ll be all sorts interesting to see what shape the show will take in its third season. Who’ll replace her?
Also, with a few more weeks to go before the climax of season 2, will Tamar make any more appearances in farewell capacity?
