KeKe Palmer‘s impressive performance on the hit show ‘Scream Queens‘ is to thank for its swelling popularity amongst TV lovers.
Fortunately, her layered role in the dark comedy isn’t the only thing fans have to look forward to in its second cycle.
Why?
She’s welcomed Taylor Lautner to its cast.
‘Scream’s first season followed the story of a sorority house (led by Emma Roberts) which is under attack from a murderer named the Red Devil determined to take each and every one of its members out.
In its second season, which premieres on the date published here, Lautner will join the cast as their characters deal with the aftermath of its first season’s event and face fresh monsters.
‘The Hollywood Reporter’ reveals:
For Lautner, the role marks his first U.S. TV series regular gig and comes as he co-stars on the BBC comedyCuckoo. He is best known as Jacob Black in the Twilight franchise and most recently starred in the Netflix feature The Ridiculous Six. Lautner is repped by WME and Untitled Entertainment. The role comes as the former A-lister once commanded $7.5 million to star in a big-budget feature film, with the actor more recently focusing on smaller roles as he no longer command the same rate.
The ‘Twilight’ player’s union with the series sees him join a family which includes Ariana Grande, Nick Jonas, Niecy Nash and the British actor Lucien Laviscount.
