Fortunately, said friendship has seen Cudi secure a role in Daniels’ TV series ‘Empire.’

‘Empire’s latest seasons kicks off its third cycle on September 21st 2016.
Sticking to its tradition of offering celebrities short-lived but important roles, the series has welcomed Cudi to its cast after announcing the arrival of Taye Diggs.
The name of his character? Gram, an independent rapper determined to outperform Hakeem Lyons on and off the stage with music and by dating Lyons’ ex-wife Tiana.
Cudi’s role on the show will support the unveiling of his next album ‘Passion, Pain & Demon Slaying.’
