Full story below…
The show’s empire is to welcome ‘Law & Order: True Crime’, a series which recreates some of the darkest moments in America’s legal history.
The first case it is to handle?
NBC ordered the series after observing the monumental success of ‘The People vs OJ Simpson’ and will tell the story as it continues to generate interest over 25 years after it happened.
What actually happened?
The Menendez brothers were convicted of murdering their parents and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole in 1996. The brothers, who were 21 and 18 years old, respectively, at the time of the murders, were tried separately but eventually found guilty in a third trial after no verdicts were rendered in the first two trials because of hung juries.
A premiere date is yet to be set.
