The third season of Viola Davis‘ hit show ‘How To Get Away with Murder‘ isn’t the only project the actress’ fans have to look forward to this year.

For, stomping its way to epic box office glory is the movie ‘Suicide Squad‘ in which she stars alongside Will Smith and Jared Leto!

Awesome news awaits below…

‘Squad’ drops on August 4th and tells the tale of a group of DC Comics villains who are assembled to complete a covert mission.

It’s an exciting release, as it features performances by Margot Robbie, Cara Delevingne, Adewale Akinnouye-Agbaje as well as the aforementioned Smith and Davis.

How and why it’s set to rock the box office?

$125 million.

That is the figure the movie is projected to earn in its opening weekend.

‘Deadline’ explains…

Even if the film grosses north of $95M it will still be a record opening for the month of August, beating Disney/Marvel’s The Guardians of the Galaxy which woke up the final sleepy summer month two years ago with a three-day of $94.3M.

In addition to breaking an August record, Suicide Squad would also mark a three-day opening record for Will Smith, his all-time debut belonging to 2007’s I Am Legend ($77.2M).

She reminds me so much of Helen Mirren. Both had success later in life, and both are absolutely beloved by their peers. She just needs her Oscar now.

I would rather have a blooming acting career than an Oscar. We seen winners fall out of grace quick that won one.

Most anticipated movie this year after Deadpool

    • JOHNVIDAL July 15, 2016

Deadpoll was nowhere near the most anticipated movie of the year hun. It became a success, a big one, pretty unexpected in some ways. But BvS, Civil War, The next Star Wars in December or S****** Squad were more anticipated. Among others.

please please lord!!!!!! DC comics needs this to be a success before Wonder Woman. BvS made bank but still viewed as a flop even though it wasn’t so this need to kick ass!

What? So now it is her movie? LMAO Only in TGJ… 🙂
Anyway, I´m here for DC universe, not as ridiculously childish and formulaic as Marvel. I think those estimations are way too high though. But really, the highlight for fans who are anticipating it is Margot and Jared Leto and their characters.
