The murder of a promising student at a Philadelphia university derails the life of a thriving lecturer when she suspects that someone close to her may have been behind it.
Sound intriguing?
Welcome to ‘How to Get Away with Murder‘, the ABC drama fronted by Viola Davis and created by Peter Nowalk and ‘Scandal’ mastermind Shonda Rhimes.
Sure to impress any who enjoyed Halle Berry’s ‘The Rich Man’s Wife’ or Amanda Silver’s ‘The Hand That Rocks the Cradle‘, the show returns for its third cycle on September 22nd 2016.
However, its admirers won’t have to wait until then to find out what’s set to go down in its very first episode.
Major spoilers below…
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Weekly’ ‘Murder’ maker Nowalk revealed:
We will answer a very important question right when we pick up in the show and then we will move past it. I think the question is what happens in the immediate aftermath of Wes telling this man, ‘I think I’m your son, and him getting shot while the man is on the phone. It’s basically what will happen to Wes in those instant moments and there might be some reveal within that.
There’s more.
‘NYPD Blues‘ star Esai Morales has joined the series to help Davis and her squad tell its tale.
He isn’t the only newcomer.
For, joining him is ‘Oz’ player Lauren Velez who has signed up to portray a recurring character and ‘Twice in a Lifetime‘s Amy Marie Madigan.
Exciting times!
I can’t wait!
When will Empire?
