For reasons he’s yet to reveal, Ray-J has never truly been able to capitalise on the part he played in turning his sister’s former assistant Kim Kardashian into a household name.
Elevated from a Hollywood hotspot staple to world renowned media mogul, Kim-with the help of her mother Kris Jenner and NBC- was able to turn her sex tape into an empire Ray was forced to observe from the sidelines.
However, it a report published this week is anything to go by, all of that is set to change.

Producers of Celebrity Big Brother – which starts on January 3 -are in talks with the singer, who famously co-starred with the reality TV queen in her infamous sex tape.
Kim is one of the biggest celebrities in the world and they were never going to get her but booking Ray J means they’ll get someone with proper insight into what goes on behind closed doors.
He was right by her side as she shot to fame because of their sex tape so they are hoping he will talk openly about their relationship and reveal lots of new things about her while in the house.
Since the tape’s release, J has enjoyed success on several reality tv shows. These include ‘Bad Girls Club: All Star Battle‘, ‘Love & Hip Hop Hollywood’, ‘Leave it to Stevie’ and the short-lived ‘For the Love of Ray J.’
If he is to join ‘Brother’ he can be expected to be quizzed on reports that he and Kim leaked the visual with hopes of replicating Paris Hilton’s ‘One Night in Paris.’

It appears that both Kim Kardashian and Ray J consented to make the sex tape. Clearly, they both are aware of the taping as they are mugging for the camera. Kim and Ray J’s sex tape appears to be high quality and well shot. Additionally, both parties would have consented to signing on the distribution deal with Vivid Entertainment.
The most likely scenario is that they both decided to leak the tape. Let’s just say, if Ray J had gone behind Kim’s back and tried to sell the tape, Kim could have easily called on her lawyers to stop that tape from being shown to the public.
Kim denies this.
