Welcome to Screen Juice, the TGJ original feature created to keep you in the loop with all things TV and Films related.
Who makes up the ingredients of today’s juice? Beyonce, Ludacris and the British boxer and budding movie star Anthony Joshua.
Beyonce‘s run in Hollywood kicked off in 2002 when she starred in her first big screen picture ‘Austin Powers in Goldmember’.
In 2004, the entertainer joined the cast of Steve Martin‘s ‘Pink Panther’ reboot with support of an $80 million budget.
Why any of this is relevant today?
Well, thanks to Beyonce’s performance in the project as the Pop star Xania and direction from Shawn Levy, the movie has now grossed $158,851,357 worldwide with $82 million of that generated from sales in the United States.
DVD sales, driven by Beyonce and Steve’s star power, recently reached the 1,579,116 point pulling $23,216,770 into the project’s pink pockets.
Get ready to see a whole lot more of Ludacris!
For, before he’s set to dominate the box office with the latest chapter of the ‘Fast and Furious’ story, he has announced plans to revive the hit show ‘Fear Factor’ with help from MTV.
His plans to reboot the series fall under a development deal he recently signed with the company which will see him launch fresh and engaging televised content directly into its viewers’ homes.
I am excited to kick off my partnership with MTV, starting with the relaunch of ‘Fear Factor,’ which will be even more insane and ludicrous than what you remember. This will be the first of many great projects together.
The first episode of the new series will air on May 30th!
Gliding to glory outside of the boxing ring is the Nigerian athlete Anthony Joshua.
This year, two after plans to build it were announced, Joshua’s documentary ‘Anthony Joshua: The Road To Klitschko‘ will air on the BBC and offer viewers access to his life as he juggles love, life and athleticism as he prepares for his imminent battle with Hayden Panettiere’s lover Wladimir Wladimirowitsch Klitschko.
