The Xscape reunion will indeed be televised.
Rumors have been rampant that the R&B outfit would be assembling for a reality series and now said talk has been confirmed.
TMZ report that the group – comprised of Kandi Burruss, Tiny Harris, LaTocha and Tamika Scott – will star in a “docu-series” for Bravo.
Currently filming in Atlanta, the show will chronicle Xscape’s preparation for their first performance in 20 years – which takes place next month at the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans.
Set to premiere in November, the as yet untitled series will interestingly air alongside Bravo smash as ‘The Real Housewives Of Atlanta.’ A move designed to maximize exposure – especially given the presence of Kandi on both shows.
Mona Scott-Young, creator of VH1’s ‘Love & Hip Hop’ franchise, will serve as executive producer.
We’ll most definitely be watching. Will you?
I’m here for this.
Absolutely! *Plays Hard To Say Goodbye*
Kandi is the undisputed queen of reality TV.
…I was going to say something but this YOUR opinion so I’ll sit.
(Somebody PLEASE help this baby!)
I disagree with that. I think Andy Cohen and Ryan Seacrest has become the “Queen(s) of Reality TV”. Kandi is just another dusty old h** on Bravo payroll but Ryan and Andy are getting coins off the top and bottom from these reality shows and even have a couple shows of their own.
Really? Why insult her? A Grammy winning songwriter isn’t a dusty old anything.
Plenty of old dusty ho*s have grammies. A grammy does not take the dust off or the ho*e out of a ho*e.
I’m so excited but i would love new music/cd from them as well. They all are lead singers
Ive never heard Tiny sing lead
You must not know much about their Discography.
@Erik Discographies are only important to an artist’s fans. You cannot assume everyone is a superfan. I love 90s R&B and Hip-Hop and I know all of Xscape’s hit singles. Unfortunately, I do not recall Tiny singing lead on any of their hit singles and I am not really into album filler tracks.
In that case…She has lead vocals on “Understanding” “Tonight” “My Little secret” and “Do you want to”…All big hits.
Unless Tiny is a Tameka Scott impersonator all I hear on their hit singles is Tameka Scott singing lead with a little bit of Kandi mixed in. (Tiny and the other girl harmonize in the background). I will give there greatest hits CD a listen this week. I am hoping I am wrong but if memory serves me correct Tiny’s vocals are not memorable at all and certainly not that of a lead singer to a group.
When Remy Ma join the group ?
You need glasses. Remy Ma is 5’10 in height. These ladies are just slightly taller than midgets.
Still not feeling Mona Scott but congrats. Go Ladies
So glad to see then put away their differences and come back bigger and better…traces of my lipstick is one of the best group efforts of all times ESPECIALLY softest place on earth slay
