Variety confirms that the 38-year-old has signed a lucrative two-year partnership with HBO.
The deal will see the cable network command “first-look” broadcast rights on original projects created by Haddish. These are believed to include scripted and non-scripted productions, as well as stand-up specials.
In the more immediate future, Haddish will next appear opposite Tracy Morgan in TBS sitcom ‘The Last OG,’ which debuts in April. This September she will also team up with Kevin Hart in new movie ‘Night School.’
All come in the wake of the comedienne’s best-selling autobiography ‘The Last Black Unicorn’ and lucrative partnership with Groupon.
The HBO news comes during an interesting window, during which pay-packets for black comedians is being heavily debated. As relates to Tiffany though, there need not be any doubt – she’s slaying the game and collecting her coins!
