Will Smith Parts Ways With Sony Pictures

Published: Thursday 11th Jan 2018 by David

Will Smith‘s Overbrook Entertainment has parted ways with Sony Pictures.

Details on Will’s new moves below…

The production company enjoyed a fruitful relationship with Sony for well over a decade but now finds itself removed from the cinematic force as Smith seeks to break exciting new ground on Netflix.

As it stands, Overbrook is an independent business but is likely to be highly sought after thanks to the success it enjoyed with ‘Ali’, ‘All of Us’, ‘Hitch’ and ‘ATL.’

Jumped or pushed? That remains to be seen.

Fortunately, the next few months are set to see Smith soar into action with new movies (Aladdin) and a number of exciting ventures set to solidify his status as one of Hollywood’s more bankable stars.
