Without the benefit of its star player Joseline Hernandez’ star power, ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta‘ finds itself tasked with delivering with decent ratings with a new batch of performers.
Fortunately, if ratings pulled in by its opening episode are anything to go by, it is set to do just that this season.
Bittersweet news below…
Stepping in to fill Hernandez’ shoes are ‘Love & Hip Hop New York’s Erica Mena, the female rapper Tokyo Vanity and the Dancehall icon Spice, all ushered in to support the show’s original cast.
Today, the newbies are to learn that they played a substantial role in pulling in the 2.2 million viewers its season seven premiere welcomed when it hit the small screen at 8 p.m on Monday evening.
How this number compares to its season six premiere?
Not as well. For, that episode picked up over 3.2 million pairs of eyes when it premiered on March 6th 2017 thanks to storylines fronted by Hernandez, the mononymous Tommie, Jessica Dime and Karlie Redd.
Will ratings pick up as the season continues?
I love and miss my Joseline.
Me too!
me three
Let’s see how many viewers she gets with her upcoming show and how long that lasts.Glad she’s gone, the show is better without her and I will watch it every Monday?
The show was dry
asf
It still done better than LHH: Miami.
of course without the baddest Joseline, the ratings will dip. Love her or hate her she was always real, and kept the show entertaining. doubt the show will get over 2 million but still…..
Joseline was LHHA. It’s not the same without her and I hope the ratings continue to plummet!!!
i think Mona gonna have her back next season…
It was boring Mena do not fit in and Tommie still Ghetto and everybody knew that was Kirk baby and the lady Stevie J suppose to produce records for sound very bad and Joseline not on the show and they keep her name in their mouth Mona
Scott your ratings will sink Stevie J going to jail lol.
