Ava has teamed up with Atrium TV to create a new series named ‘The Last Amazon‘ which is to follow the scripted lives of Amazonian queens as they battle the Ancient Greeks, find love and seek peace in a dangerous world.

Writing the show? Creatives from the hit Netflix show ‘Narcos’ who will support DuVernay’s role as a executive-producer.

A due date for the thrilling series, which may remind some readers of the aforementioned ‘Xena’, is yet to be announced.
