Legendary actor Morgan Freeman finds his name as the latest on a long list of Hollywood’s alleged sexual offenders.
Just a week before his 81st birthday, the Academy Award winner is dominating headlines this morning thanks to a production assistant who’s accused him of subjecting her to several months of harassment including “unwanted touching,” “offensive comments about her figure and choice of clothing,” and constantly rubbing her lower back and trying to lift her skirt.
The reported incidents, all stemming from 2015, have only more troubling details. See them inside:
In one incident, she said, Freeman “kept trying to lift up my skirt and asking if I was wearing underwear.” He never successfully lifted her skirt, she said — he would touch it and try to lift it, she would move away, and then he’d try again. Eventually, she said, “Alan [Arkin] made a comment telling him to stop. Morgan got freaked out and didn’t know what to say.”
Sources suggest this is not the first time Freeman has conducted inappropriate behavior.
“A woman who was a senior member of the production staff of the movie “Now You See Me” in 2012 told CNN that Freeman sexually harassed her and her female assistant on numerous occasions by making comments about their bodies.“He did comment on our bodies… We knew that if he was coming by … not to wear any top that would show our breasts, not to wear anything that would show our bottoms, meaning not wearing clothes that [were] fitted,” she said.”

I don’t get why people are so quick to believe any allegation without an investigation. It’s terrible when a person is sexually assaulted, and the person doing the assaulting should be punished( if found guilty), but people do lie!

Its also disturbing when readers are so quick to believe an allegation to be true. This isn’t a game, and could possibly destroy lives. Whether they’re found guilty or not, the people being accused will never be looked at the same again. People should stop believing everything until an investigation is done.
