Disney is to welcome the arrival of its African princess.
Her name? Sade.
Sade, who is likely to be of Nigerian descent, will be introduced to the Disney family via her very own live-action fairytale!
Its plot? Her quest to defeat evil forces lurking in her kingdom with her newly discovered superpowers and help from a trustee sidekick or two.
A due date for her movie is yet to be announced.
Sade’s arrival follows the introduction of the African-American Princess Tiana of The Princess and the Frog.
