Issa Rae‘s glow-up continues to be the definition of inspirational.

The actress, writer, producer has gone from being the face of web-series ‘Awkward Black Girl’ to the Emmy-nominated creator and star of HBO smash ‘Insecure.’ As reported, she also inked a huge first-look deal with network to develop a slate of exciting new shows.

This week, as season 3 of ‘Insecure’ nears its climax, the 33-year-old stopped by  Ellen to discuss the series, her journey, her family, and much more.
