Julie Chen has decided to cut ties with ‘The Talk’ after her husband Les Moonves was forced out of his powerful CEO role at CBS… home to the series.
Full story below…As widely reported, Moonves was forced to leave the company after he was accused of sexually harassing several women he was in contact with and using his resources to sabotage the career of Pop icon Janet Jackson.
Defiantly standing by her man, Chen has parted ways with the series and will announce the news via a video message set to air during today’s episode.
Just last week, the seasoned TV talent signed off from her Big Brother hosting gig by referencing herself as “Julie Chen-Moonves.” The move marked the first time she referenced her married name on-air since tying the knot with her husband in 2004.
There is also talk that the series may come to an end of CBS’ regime opts to pull the plug on any Moonves-backed shows.
The disgraced TV royal claims a number of the women who accused him of abuse slept with him willingly.
