Cop a gander at R&B crooner Trey Songz taking to the silver screen for his first major role in the John Pogue-directed thriller, ‘Blood Brother.’

Songz stars as Sonny, a compassionate cop whose childhood friend Jake, played by Jack Kesy (Baywatch, Deadpool 2), is out to take revenge on those he believes betrayed him after a crime they committed together went south. The narrative follows the pair after an angry and violent Jake is released from prison after serving 15 years. Sonny tries to protect his friends and family, while grappling with the close relationship that he once had with Jake.
Lined with an all star cast featuring the likes of Jack Kesy , China Anne McClain, Fetty Wap , Hassan Johnson, Tanee McCall, and more, the film’s set to hit theaters and on demand on Nov 30th courtesy of Lionsgate and CodeBlack Films.

Lol it’s Roller from Claws. I like this casting tbh. Trey should just move into acting like Tyrese, TI, and Ludacris did. And they still make music for the soundtracks like Trey did here. That’s probably the best option for him. He’s getting older and can’t make stripper songs forever. And he has the look for acting too.

This looks pretty good. I’m not worried about Trey or the other guy’s acting, it’s the other people that may make me cringe if I go to see it.
