David Mesher, the cantankerous beast who verbally assaulted a black woman on a Ryanair flight, has coughed up an apology he hopes will cool the heat he is facing for his outrageous behaviour.
Details below…
I probably lost my temper a bit and ordered her to get up. I’m not a racist person by any means and it’s just a fit of temper at the time, I think.
Mesher took to ‘Good Morning Britain’ to salvage what is left of his reputation after a video of him attacking Delsie Gayle surfaced online and claimed, despite his use of several racially-charged insults, that he isn’t a racist.
Delsie, who lost her husband last year, isn’t convinced and said so in an interview given shortly after Mesher’s performance on the TV show.
Ryanair said this in a statement…
As the cabin crew believed they were dealing with an argument between two passengers, they followed company procedure, to defuse the argument, and separate the passengers by offering to move one to alternative seating.
The female passenger was moved at her request to a seat next to her daughter. Both passengers then said they were “okay.”
As far as the cabin crew were concerned, that was the end of the matter, and since there was no threat to aircraft safety, the issue of offloading one passenger did not arise.
I’m White and when I lose my temper, I don’t go around insulting people of color by hurling racial epithets! I smoke a joint and cool down!
