The well-documented journey to becoming parents hasn’t exactly been easy for actress Gabrielle Union and basketball star Dwyane Wade, but they couldn’t have imagined the hardships would continue post the baby’s birth.
In an interview with Oprah Winfrey on OWN (set to air December 8th), the Wades share their the triumphs and trials that preceded and followed the announcement of the birth of their daughter, Kaavia James, in early November (as we reported here).
The trials continued after the two shared what they thought would be a celebrated moment on social media. Instead, Union says she was on the receiving end of ridicule and criticism.

Just watched LovelyTi’s (Youtube) live stream on ‘Breeders’ and the dark side of surrogacy. Very informative; people using surrogacy as a means of creating ‘Design babies’; like the baby’s skin complexion, eye colour etc. Also with surrogate Indian women carrying multiple eggs, the parents can choose which ones to keep whilst discarding the rest; lets say if they want twins or triplets. And that’s just a few.
I suggest people watch her video because its some crazy stuff.
