Kim Kardashian-West and her husband Kanye West have made the decision to trademark their new son’s name to protect it from being exploited.

Psalm West was born via surrogacy just over two weeks ago and, by way of his familial ties, is already one of the world’s most recognisable babies.
So, to ensure that his name and likeness isn’t exploited, his parents have filed a trademark so his name can only be used to sell Kardashian-related goods and services.
The legal docs also include hair extensions and ornamental novelty pins.
And, it goes on … entertainment services, personal appearances, skin care, probiotic supplements, toy figures and doll accessories, computer software, clothing, baby bottles, furniture, strollers, beverageware, swaddling blankets … and on and on.
Psalm is the couple’s fourth child.
