‘Fast & Furious 9’ is the latest film to be affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
The outbreak continues to wreak havoc on the entertainment industry, with many multi-nationals scrambling.
Now, it’s emerged that the hotly anticipated action flick – which features Vin Diesel and John Cena – has been pushed back by a year.
Details below…
‘Fast 9’ had been set for a May 22nd 2000 release. Yet, now it’s been announced that it’ll hit theaters in April 2021.
Vin Diesel explained:
“We feel all the love and the anticipation you have for the next chapter in our saga. That’s why it’s especially tough to let you know that we have to move the release date of the film. It’s become clear that it won’t be possible for all of our fans around the world to see the film this May.
While we know there is disappointment in having to wait a little while longer, this move is made with the safety of everyone as our foremost consideration.”
The news comes after the significant delay to ‘James Bond: No Time To Die’ and after many TV shows have eradicated their live audience component in the wake of coronavirus concerns.
Hopefully it goes straight to dvd and they cancel the last one and put this sh*t to rest already. We really dont need anymore of those movies
Truth! Kill this franchise! It’s long overdue.
Without Paul walker, fast & furious never be the same. R.i.p to one of my pimp daddy.
This is sad. White people, wash your hands and stop spreading this. And for you F @ G G 0 T S. Repent and stop partaking in such abominations.
