Joy Behar is stepping away from ‘The View’ to protect herself from the Coronavirus.
Full story below… The 77-year-old political power player has starred on the show for over twenty years and has now announced plans to step away from it to protect herself from the virus.
Fortunately, no one at the series has tested positive for it, meaning her move is more cautionary than in it is reactive.
She shared:
I’m in a higher risk group because of my age, but I’m perfectly healthy. I don’t look my age, but I’m actually up there. The number makes me dizzy.
The show recently closed its doors to its usual live studio audience to stop the spread of the disease on set and will continue to air as normal in the coming weeks.
